Design and Prototyping

Design:

Why use expensive external design services? Design for plastics injection moulding requires a certain approach and working with A Plus Plastics and our experienced industrial designers saves time and money and results in suitable plastic moulding designs from the outset. Sharing expertise with our customers, together we optimise choice of plastic material, physical shape, ease of production, cost and performance.  Working in partnership with you from initial concept, through the injection moulding design stage using 3D CAD to final production, we have the ability for complete management of your project. Whether you have an idea or sketch, full detailed drawings, or just a product that requires fixing or improving, we can use the latest CAD software coupled with our design expertise and polymer knowledge, to make sure your product is capable of being produced consistently, economically and to a very high standard

Prototyping:

A prototype is an early sample or model built to test a concept or process or to act as a test component to be replicate. A Plus Plastics can turn any 3D CAD image into a working component, through laser cutting rapid prototyping technology. This enables our customers to touch and feel the component, which will be exactly what their mould will be producing, without actually producing the mould.

Prototypes are ideal to test the fitment and application of basically any plastic component.
